Photographers in Córdoba

Córdoba's Mezquita is one of the few interiors in Spain worth building an entire session around: hundreds of double arches in red brick and pale stone, repeating in every direction. Outside it, the Jewish Quarter is a grid of narrow whitewashed lanes, and the city's famous patios — courtyards covered wall to wall in geraniums — open to visitors in May. The Roman bridge over the Guadalquivir gives the wide establishing shot, especially at dusk with the Mezquita lit behind. Summers are genuinely hot, so shoots run early or late.
